Fingers crossed for a mild summer altogether...
Strolled over to that Broadway Mall thing in Times Square... While it felt nice to sit on a lawnchair for a few minutes to check messages on my Sidekick mobile, I'm not convinced that this is "right" for the so-called "crossroads of the world"...

Here's the Architectural reviewer from the New York Times on this Times Square Broadway closing thing... He's not crazy about it either, but he does make some suggestions that might improve things...

Hey, I was there too this evening, around 7PM to 9PM.
The weather was amazing and I hung out there for a couple of hours.
No cars! How can mankind survive?
