FaceBook is great. There I said it. I'm baffled about the people in my life who are fearful of it. Like they'll get sucked into a giant vacuum cleaner or something... Go slow in learning it and adding info...
Don't fear: you always have control... You can reveal the info you want to reveal and to whom... And you control the amount of information that you receive from others... And you contact whoever you want from your past...
YOU have the POWER!
You can even delete, not just de-activate, your FaceBook account if you want...
FaceBook's at its peak these days for the over 40 (and over 50-70 crowd)!
And even after we're all dead, the NYTimes had a piece the other day on the FaceBook profile being a new kind of memorial for the Internet age...

Facebook is banal, juvenile pap ! and there I said it...
I got sucked in and completely neglected my blog.
