My 2¢ on Firefox

OK, so I tried Google's Chrome browser for a while. And kept thinking Google was gonna find a way to interest developers to add cool bells and whistles to accompany it's sleek, bare bones browser capability.

I liked it's simpleness.

I got used to typing search terms in the web address bar...

And while the window pane of frequently visited sites could be embarrassing... I got used to it...

Then the buzz on Firefox re-caught my attention.

"Browse in the fast lane..."

I was thinking about switching back when the NYTimes did a piece that got me to upgrade... And I'm glad I did...

They've added new groovy apps. It seems to move faster than it did a year ago. I love the tabbing off in multiple windows, so orderly that I'm re-hooked on Firefox...

Firefox is the best PC browser these days, bar none.

I agree. I've been using Firefox for the last um, five years.

Since Version 0.7 actually and now I'm on 3.5

One thing though, Java. Java and Apple need to put their heads together. Because whenever I run a Java app iTunes starts skipping.

I'm told this isn't a problem if you're on a Mac though.

Thanks for the tip Todd. I'll pay her a visit and see how my online life can be enriched. BTW, when are you going to publish your photos in book form?

I've been running Firefox alongside IE8. The latter has got a long way to go if it wants to even be considered competition. I've nowt against Microsoft, but Explorer is SLOW !

I have been using Firefox for several years now and I love it! I like their "bells and whistles" and I have never had any problems with it.

The simpleness is what I don't like about Chrome. I like having lots of features readily available when I want to use them.

I've read blog postings saying the FF 4 will be more like Chrome in terms of the user interface. I'm hoping someone will develop an addon to restore the functionality to the interface.
