State of the Blogosphere

# Bloggers use Twitter far more than the average person and micro-blogging is changing blogging habits
# Blogging is becoming more mainstream and influential, but not replacing traditional media
# More bloggers are making money, but most don’t make any
# Most bloggers are “hobbyists” and are driven by personal fulfillment rather than financial gain.

This according to Technorati and quoted by OnlineJournalismBlog.

I've never used Twitter or even seen it.

I've never made money blogging, but I have made friends.

I use twitter more and more all of the time. However.. I'll never be satisfied limiting my thoughts to 140 characters, and feel more fulfilled by blogging.

I would love to make lots of green from blogging which I love to do, but haven't made much yet. (next to nothing actually) LOL!

I'm still a Twitter virgin. I intend to keep that form of chastity forever.

I so rather blog than tweet. I like the open forum, at any size, in any way.
