It's Always Something

So... much of my free time seems to be enveloped in tech related stuff lately... a new notebook computer, and a new desktop. ... And I'm still getting used to the Android phone...

I spent most of yesterday trying to set up the new computer...

Wouldn't ya know it???... My old monitors don't fit the new computer... So I had to go buy a new monitor this morning... Oy!

I got a 23" Samsung HD for $200 at Best Buy...

My geek friend is off in Peru with his girlfriend for the summer... When he gets back, I'll see if I can have him rescue and adapt my 18" previous monitor to give me a second monitor on this here brand new Acer desktop...

I had two monitors on the old Acer and I really got used to being able to have several projects going at once on different monitors.... especially great for blogging, editing photos and multitasking with social media...

It's been a humid and hot couple of days so fooling with the tech stuff in air-conditionined comfort is a perfect weather-appropriate activity...

Meanwhile, my apartment is filled with packing materials and cardboard boxes until I know that all this stuff works...
