Triple Your Donation By Midnight!

Guest post by Bill Clinton... (Well, it would be, if I asked him! LOL)

I am extremely grateful for your year-end gift. Your support means that we can help even more people around the world achieve their dreams in 2012.

Because I know that you are committed to building a better world, I am hoping you could share the incredible news with your friends and family that a generous donor has stepped up to continue our matching gift campaign and give the Foundation $2 for every $1 donated. That means every online gift will go 3 times as far until midnight tonight.

I hope you will share the news that donations to the Clinton Foundation will be tripled with your family, neighbors, and friends and ask them to join you in supporting our mission.

Our work is only possible because of the generosity of our donors – make sure your friends and family take advantage of this incredible opportunity to have their tax-deductible gift tripled.

Thank you again for your generosity.

Sincerely,

Bill Clinton

OK, I donated: Thank you for making a gift of $100.00 to the Clinton Foundation. Your gift makes a difference as we work to address some of the world's more pressing challenges -- from global climate change to extreme poverty -- through collaborative and systematic effort.

Let me just start by saying thank you.

The response to President Clinton's 2–for–1 matching gift campaign was tremendous!

Your support, combined with contributions from more than 7,000 individuals, helped us raise more than $1.2 million for Clinton Foundation activities in 2012. When I shared these results with President Clinton, he was deeply moved and asked me to extend his gratitude to you.

Because of this incredible outpouring of support, we are confident that our ambitious plans to improve lives around the world in 2012 will come to fruition:
Teaching farmers more efficient farming techniques and helping them find stable markets and fair prices in Malawi;
Leading the charge against the childhood obesity epidemic in the United States by helping America's schools serve healthier meals at more affordable prices to more than 30 million students;
Performing life-changing cataract surgeries in Peru – with a goal of reaching 50,000 people by 2013; and
Working with private investors, NGOs, Haitian entrepreneurs, and the government of Haiti to support education, capacity building, and the creation of more than 20,000 jobs.
On behalf of everyone here at the Clinton Foundation and the people you've helped around the world, thank you once again for closing 2011 on such an inspirational note.

Sincerely,

Dennis Cheng
