Stalwart Diner Bites the Dust: Goodbye Chelsea Gallery

Thanks to Mikelaw for sending... Although the news is so sad.

I think all these Greek Diners may be on their way out in the next decade or so... Their model isn't right for the changing times... Huge oversized portions of heavy food and they can't afford to stock the huge selection on the menu that people expect from a Diner anymore...

And then cheap customers come and camp out in a booth for hours on end for the price of a cup of coffee...

So many of the Hell's Kitchen area Greek Diners around here have jacked up their prices so much...

Diners are definitely not a bargain anymore... It's sad...

Where will all the 12 Step Programs go for Fellowship... Right?

But... Let's be positive... Maybe the Galaxy, Renaissance, Moonrock, Westway, City Lights and the Flame can hold their own... ?

 Go support the Greek Diners!!

That's a shame, that's where I grew up and spent most of my life. Haven't been back in a while though, but I still have fond memories of the Greek diners, real nostalgic.http://complaintothemanager.blogspot.com/
