Monomania is what it sounds like: a pathologically intense focus on one thing.
Monomania sucks...
Some people, of course, can manage a freelance career. As an artist, I would get swept into my own Narcissistic artistry and self-importance, same as chocolate bars and peanut butter.
Too much is/was/forever will be never enough.
