Hell's Kitchen Landmark Market Must Be Restored!

The popular Stiles Market tent at 41st and Ninth Avenue is now closed. The Hell's Kitchen community is demanding a return of fresh, quality produce at affordable prices.

Silver Lining: Still Open - Stile's Farmers Market tent on W. 52nd St., between 8th and 9th Avenues, near the Post Office, where I have been shopping for years...

Many Hell's Kitchen denizens are now asking the Port Authority to relocate the Stiles market in its large, and long abandoned Project Find storefront... The vacant Project Find space can be a viable new home for the Stile's Farmers' Market, they say.

This storefront is a Port Authority-owned property on W. 41st Street, opposite the bus station. It's been empty for 4 years. Having the Farmers Market there would allow convenient shopping for the community. It's been empty for 4 years. Having the Farmers Market here will allow convenient shopping for the community in a much-improved space. See the DNAinfo story by Matthew Katz Longtime Ninth Avenue Farmers Market to Close here

Visit Markets of Hell's Kitchen to sign their petition, to get on their mailing list, and/or to keep abreast of the situation as it unfolds...
