Summer Vacay: Day At A Time

The way the calendar worked out this year, I was able to high tail it outta here after the closing bell at work for a long weekend at the beach...

Now, am back, just in time for Hurricane Arthur, well, the remnants or the after effects of Arthur...

When I hear the name Arthur I always think of Paul Lynde as Uncle Arthur on Bewitched... Maybe this hurricane is a practical joker?

The last time I remember the first hurricane of the season affecting the East Coast was Hurricane Agnes. Agnes was, in her day, the costliest hurricane ever to hit the US in recorded history. She did quite a number on Maryland.

Actually, we were driving home from a Florida family vacation and had her effects the whole drive up from Saint Augustine. That was 1972.

Yes, I'm old... Actually, older... But, we'll leave it at that, please...

Hurricanes are good for staying in and de-cluttering, and cleaning, and going paperless... Or trying to go paperless... It's a process...

Just starting my list of summer vacay stuff to do: Museums, art galleries, movies, theater, cabaret, restaurants, more beach trips, a trip to see family in the land of pleasant living....

And what else??...

Day at a time.
